SAN FRANCISCO--- SF State head women’s soccer coach has announced the signing of three high school standout soccer players for the upcoming 2010 season. Kaitlin Dick, Zena Kisoki, and Monica Tingley all have signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer for the Gators this coming Fall. These three join Allison Day as the Gator 2010 signings.
Dick is a defender from Pleasant Hill, California. She played soccer the past four seasons at Berean Christian High School. She was All-League DVAL First Team member her junior season and also was a NCS, CIF Scholar Athlete Award recipient while being a co-captain this past season. She also was All-League BSAL First Team selection her sophomore year and was the BSAL Defensive Most Valuable Player Runner-up in 2007-08 as well as being a NCS, CIF Scholar Athlete Award recipient her sophomore and freshman seasons.

This past season, Dick was a member of the First Team All-DVAL along with a NCS and CIF Scholar-Athlete Award recipient. She also was the Defensive Most Valuable Player for Berean Christian High School.
“Kaitlin has very good soccer skills and speed of play,” said Coach Hyde.
Her freshman season, Dick also was a Second Team All-BSAL. Besides playing soccer in high school, Dick also was on the swimming, volleyball, and track teams. Her junior year, she was named to the All-DVAL Honorable Mention Team for swimming as well as being a NCS, CIF Scholar-Athlete recipient. For track, she has been All-League twice: once a second team selection for the high jump her sophomore season and the other a first team selection for the 4x100 team her freshman season. In volleyball, she was a NCS, CIF Scholar Athlete selection her freshman season.
Zena Kisoki is a defender from Sacramento, California, where she attended Christian Brothers High School. She is a member of the Falcons’ soccer team and is their main central defender. “Zena is a strong central defender,” said SF State Head Coach Jack Hyde.

Monica Tingley is a forward from Granite Bay, California, where she attended Granite Bay High School. She is the captain for the soccer team there and is a four-year starter and was a member of the Sierra Foothill League Championship Team in 2007 and 2009. Tingley also was a Academic Merit Award recipient.
“Monica is a good striker who can hold the ball in the attacking area,” said SF State Head Coach Jack Hyde. “We are looking forward to her joining the Gators this Fall.”
SF State finished the 2009 season with an 8-8-4 overall record and a 6-7-3 record in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). The Gators tied for second in the CCAA North Division this past season.
