SF State Cross Country Media Guide Wins Two Awards

The 2009 SF State Cross Country Media Guide earned two awards in the 2009-10 CoSIDA Publications Contest.

SAN FRANCISCO - The 2009 San Francisco State cross country media guide received two awards in the 2009-10 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Publications Contest. The 24-page guide was voted “Best in the Nation” and earned “Best Cover” distinction in the College Division B category.

Assistant sports information director Jim Solien designed, wrote and edited the publication and also created the cover, which featured Gator standouts Kyle Fujitsubo (Rancho Murietta, Calif., Sheldon HS), Brittany Garrett (Hoover, Ala., Univ. of Southern Mississippi) and Tanya Ferreira (Watsonville, Calif., North Monterey County HS).
