SAN RAMON, Calif. – San Francisco State track and field sprinter
Atiya Harvey was named the CCAA Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Harvey had a busy week for the Gators last week, setting three provisional marks in three different events.
The senior sprinter began the meet, taking second in the 100m dash with a provisional mark of 11.89 seconds, four hundredths of a second slower than the SF State record set in 2012.
Later in the meet, she edged out teammate
Timarya Baynard for first in the 200m dash. Harvey clocked in with a time 24.25, the third fastest time in school history.
Harvey wrapped up meet, helping guide the Gators 4x100 to a first place finish with a time of 46.62, a provisional mark and the second fastest time of the season for the Gators.

The Gators will return to action this weekend when they host the annual San Francisco State Distance Carnival at Cox Stadium.
