Senior Ben Lockett (141) improved to 5-2 on the year with a first-period pin (2:32) of Stanford’s Bret Baumbach in SF State’s home-opening dual meet against the Division I Cardinal on Nov. 25. With his result, Lockett has already notched his second victory by fall this season after posting three pins during the entire 2008-09 campaign. Lockett, who garnered a No. 2 individual ranking at 141 in the preseason NWCA Division II poll, also defeated Baumbach by a 9-7 decision at the Fullerton Open on Nov. 21, where he finished with a 4-2 mark.
