Naveed Bagheri went 2-0 in the Gators' two non-conference duals in Fullerton against NCAA Division I foe, Cal State Fullerton, and the second ranked team in NAIA in Cal Baptist. The 2009 All-American defeated Cal State Fullerton's Armondo Gonzalez by a 17-0 technical fall in 6:28. He followed that with a 14-4 major decision over Cal Baptist's Johnny Rojas to improve to 2-1 on the year.
