Alvarez hit for the cycle for the week and batted .400 (6 for 15) with .800 slugging and .500 on-base percentages. He had three singles, a double, a triple and a homer and drove in a total of 8 runs, and scored four times. On the mound, the junior from Oxnard, picked up two wins in two relief outings with a scoreless inning in Tuesday’s win over Montana State-Billings and gave up a run on two hits for the win on Sunday versus Western Oregon.
