Steve Franklin went 3-0 to key the 18th ranked SF State Gator grapplers 3-0 weekend at the Grand Canyon Duals in Phoenix on Saturday.  Franklin started the morning with a 7-0 victory over Brian Stansbury of the Colorado School of Mines.  In his next match, the senior heavyweight recorded a win by fall at 2:41 of Richard Hernandez of Embry-Ridde.  He finished the day with an another victory by fall, this time at 3:42, over Johnny Perez of Grand Canyon.  Franklin is now 18-8 and has 9 victories by pin for the Gators, who are now 2-0 in RMAC and 4-6 overall and dual matches.
