Steve Franklin became the 82nd Gator wrestler to earn All-American status and 56th under the direction of head coach Lars Jensen as he finished in sixth place at this year's NCAA Division II National Championships in Omaha, Nebraska. The two-time All-American went 3-3 at this year's championships to finish with a 31-12 record. He finished his four-year career as a Gator with 86 wins of which 33 were by pins.
