Tanya Ferreira finished third overall out of 69 competitors at the Stanislaus Invitational on Saturday, completing the 6K course with a time of 22:58 to lead SF State to a second-place standing in the five-team field. In her first meet of the 2010 season, Ferreira finished a mere one second off her career-best 6K time of 22:57 set at the 2009 NCAA Division II West Regional Championships last November.
