Brian Trejo was the Gators’ top finisher at the SF State Invitational on Saturday, placing 12th overall out of 146 runners with an 8K time of 25:52 to help the Gators to a third-place standing in the 14-school field. With his performance, Trejo set a new lifetime best by nine seconds and has now led the squad in his last six races dating back to Oct. 9, 2009.
