Naveed Bagheri picked up six crucial points with a first-period pin of Stanford’s Donovan Halpin at 141 pounds to help SF State upset Division I Stanford, 18-16, on the road on Sunday. With his victory, Bagheri, the No. 2 ranked Division II wrestler in his weight class, has now won 13 of his last 14 bouts to raise his record to a team-leading 20-5 with four pins.
