Carrie Thomas ran the anchor leg on the  women's 4x100 relay team that surpassed a 2011 NCAA Division II outdoor provisional qualifying time on Saturday to lead the Gator track and field squad during the final session of the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field. The SF State quartet won its heat and finished seventh overall after posting a time of 47.11 seconds, which ranks third in school history.  Thomas also came away with a first-place finish in section 5 of the 200 on Saturday with a career-fast 24.86, which ranks seventh in SF State history
