Luisa Musika broke the school record in the shot put at the Cal State Stanislaus Twilight Invitational this past Friday in Turlock. She threw a second place throw of 45-9 1/4 to break the record and is now 23rd in the nation with her mark. Musika is also 14th in the nation with a mark of 137-05 in the discus. The qualifying field for the 2011 NCAA Division II National Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be announced this Wednesday.
