Freshman Male Athlete of the Year

Bruk Assefa recorded the third fastest time by a true freshman at the CCAA Championships with a 22nd place finish of 25:53.0. He also recorded a 54th place time of 34:05.00 at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships, which was the second highest finish by a Gator runner
