Zuleima Jimenez placed fifth out of 187 runners in the women’s collegiate open race on Saturday at the University of Washington’s Sundodger Invitational in Seattle, completing the six-kilometer event in 22:09.60 to help SF State finish a solid fourth in the 17-school field. With her performance, Jimenez shaved over a minute off her previous time of 23:17 set at the NDNU Invitational on Sept. 3, vaulting into third place on the Gators’ all-time 6K list.
