Jose Monje played a key role in the Gators’ 2-0 weekend as SF State improved to 4-2-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the CCAA.  Monje started the weekend recording three shot attempts in SF State’s 2-0 win over Humboldt State on Friday.  The junior transfer ended the weekend scoring the golden goal in the Gators’ come-from-behind 2-1 double overtime win over No. 21 Sonoma State.  Monje’s goal in the 105^th minute of the second overtime, which his first goal in the Purple and Gold.
