Zuleima Jimenez finished third overall at the Gators’ own SF State Invitational on Friday, crossing the finish line with a 6K time of 22:04.1, helping San Francisco State to a fourth-place standing in the 13-school field. In addition, the Gator sophomore posted the second-fastest collegiate time of the day, besting runners from CCAA rivals Cal State Stanislaus and Humboldt State. With her performance, Jimenez has now come away with top-five finishes in each of her first four races as a Gator, capturing the individual title at the Sonoma State Invitational on Oct. 1, after placing third at the Notre Dame de Namur Invitational on Sept. 3 and fifth at the University of Washington’s Sundodger Invitational on Sept. 17.
