Zuleima Jimenez led the Gators to a seventh-place standing out of 24 schools on Saturday at the 2011 NCAA Division II West Regionals in Spokane, Wash., posting a time of 22:11 to finish in 17th among 135 competitors. With her performance, Jimenez became the first SF State female cross country runner to earn All-West Region honors since Shannon O'Connor in 2002 as the top 25 finishers receive such recognition.
