Lauren Varney averaged 12.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 blocked shots per game in the Gators' 1-1 weekend. She started the weekend scoring 10 points and grabbing 8 rebounds while dishing out 3 assists in the Gators' 59-54 heartbreaking loss to Chico State. The sophomore forward also shot 50% from the field.

Then in the Gators' 72-62 win over Cal State Stainslaus, Varney scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds while shooting 78% from the field. For the weekend, also shot 65% from the field.
