AJ Almarez batted .500 with a .750 slugging percentage and a .625 on-base percentage in the Gators' 3-1 weekend in SF State's conference opening series at CSU Dominguez Hills. Almarez drove in 7 runs and scored three times to key the Gators' first conference series win since March 2010.

In the Gators' 14-7 win in game three of the series, Almarez was 3-for-4 with three RBIs whlie scoring twice. Then in SF State's 4-9 series finale win, he was 2-for-2 with three RBIs.
