Peter Reyes came in the top of the ninth in the Gators' 6-5 come-from-behind win over Sonoma State with runners on first and second and one out and the hosts down 5-4. He struck out the first batter he faced and then induced the next batter to ground out as the Gators scored twice in the bottom of the 9th inning to win the game. Earlier in the week, Reyes recorded his first save of his career in the Gators' 5-4 win over Nevada. For the week, he went 1-0 with a save with 1.2 innings pitched in two appearances while striking out two. The Gator freshman pitcher is 4-1 with a 1.38 ERA in 13 innings of work and has one save.
