Maya Cabiness logged a DII provisional qualifying time of 1 minute, 0.90 seconds, in the 400-meter hurdles eclipsing Tyler Dalbey's school standard of 1:00.93 set in 2010 at the same meet. Cabiness placed first in the event.

Not to be outdone, the SF State 4x400 relay team of Carrie Thomas, Cabiness, Brionne Baucham and Alicia Chambers came up big on Friday, shattering the school record with a time of 3:42.58. With their performance, the Gator quartet achieved a DII provisional qualifying mark, just missing out on an automatic berth by 0.28 seconds.
