Junior Bruk Assefa was the Gators' top finisher last Friday at their own SF State Invitational where he completed the eight-kilometer course in sixth place out of 58 runners with a time of 26:07. With his performance, Assefa helped the Gators capture their fifth consecutive regular-season meet title dating back to last year and fourth straight season opener.
