Senior Brian Trejo was the Gators’ top runner last Saturday at the inaugural Crystal Springs Invitational in Belmont, Calif., where he placed 12th overall out of 81 competitors with an 8K time of 27:10. With his performance, Trejo registered the eighth top-15 finish of his career, helping the SF State men’s team to a third-place showing out of seven schools at its second home meet of the season.
