Bruk Assefa posted a third-place individual finish at the CCAA Championships last Saturday with an 8K time of 25 minutes, 43.8 seconds, trailing only Chico State's Isaac Chavez (25:41.0) and Alfonso Cisneros (25:43.8) in a thrilling finish. With his performance, Assefa garnered All-CCAA accolades, becoming the first Gator to earn such distinction in consecutive seasons since Josh Babiak accomplished the feat in 2005 and 2006.
