The freshman middle hitter played a key role in the Gators weekend road sweep over Cal Poly Pomona and Humboldt State. Wright started the weekend with 24 kills and four service aces while recording five solo blocks in the Gators' come-from-behind five set win at Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday evening. Then in the Gators' three set sweep at Humboldt State, Wright had 12 kills, 5 service aces and two total blocks.
