The junior point guard averaged 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game as the Gators went 2-0 in their weekend on the road in the CCAA. With the two wins, SF State is now 11-7 overall and 9-5 in the CCAA. The Gators are now in third place, two games ahead of Cal State L.A., Chico State and UC San Diego who are all tied for fourth place.
Otiono started the weekend scoring 19 points in the Gators' 76-52 win at Cal St. Monterey Bay on Friday. He also had four assists and no turnovers with a steal and 7 rebounds in the Gators' win. The Sacramento native ended the weekend scoring 6 points and recording four steals in SF State's 89-66 win at Cal State East Bay on Saturday.
For the weekend, he shot 53% from the field including 60% from three-point range while going a perfect 6-for-6 from the line.
