Marisa Ibarra had a 3-0 record in helping the Gators captured the 2013 Mizuno Best of the West Tournament in Turlock this past weekend.  She started the weekend pitching a complete game win in SF State's 9-1 season opening win over No. 17 Cal St. Monterey Bay on Friday.  Ibarra struck out four, walked three, while giving up four hits and a run. 

She came back later on Friday pitching a complete game shutout in SF State's 8-0  win over Chico State.  Ibarra gave up five hits and struck out three while walking two in six innings of work.  Then in the Gators' 6-4 come-from-behind win, the senior pitcher struck out 7 and walked two in 7 innings of work while giving up nine hits and three earned runs. 

For the weekend, she posted a 1.56 earned run average while striking out 14 and walking 7 in 18 innings of work.
