Bagheri captured the 2013 NCAA Division II Super Regional IV/RMAC Championship Title at 141 this past weekend at Chadron, Neb.  The senior wrestler went 3-0 including avenging an early season loss to Adams State's Ryan Fillingame in the championship match by winning by a 15-7 major decision.  Bagheri started the weekend with a 17-0 technical fall win over Colorado State-Pueblo's Jimmy Chase in the quarters.  He came back and pinned Western State's Corbin Bennetts (0:28) to advance to the finals.

In the finals, the two-time All-American won by a 15-7 major decison over Fillingame to capture the title.  He will now advance to the Nationals which are set for March 8-9 in Birmingham, Alabama.
