Lauren Varney averaged a double-double in the Gators' 1-1 weekend in Southern California. Varney started the weekend scoring 10 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in the Gators' 68-57 loss at CSU San Bernardino on Thursday. The junior forward came back and scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the Gators' 53-50 win at UC San Diego, which helped the Gators clinch the 8th and final spot in the CCAA Basketball Championships. For the weekend, she averaged 11.5 points, 10.0 rebounds., 3.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game.
