Paxton Cota led SF State with a first-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, crossing the finish line with a 11:47.23--almost 15 seconds faster than her runner-up, Pacific's Lindsay Wourms (12:01.10). Cota's time puts her second on the SF State all-time outdoor best list in the 3K steeplechase, behind Johanna Luk at 11:21.56 (2003).
