Kelsey Murakami batted .529 during the Gators' 2-4 weekend at the 2013 Tournament of Champions in Turlock, Calif.  She started the weekend going 1-3 in SF State's 1-0 loss to Cal Baptist on Friday afternoon.  Murakami came back and went 3-for-4, scoring twice and driving in a run in the Gators' 7-6 heartbreaking loss to Chaminade late Friday afternoon.  She also had a stolen base.  In the Gators' final game on Friday, she went 1-for-2 against Hawai'i-Hilo. In the Gators' game against WWU after the tournament, Murakami went 1-for-4 with a two-run double.

The junior infielder started Saturday scoring the Gators' only run on a two-out single by Ashley Huff in SF State's 1-0 win over #21 Grand Canyon.  In the Gators' 5-0 win over Dominican on Saturday, she went 1-2 with a RBI.  Murakami finished the weekend going 1-3 in SF State's 3-1 loss to #21 GCU.
