Matt Vera batted .500 with a .800 slugging and a .667 on-base percentages in the Gators' four-game sweep of Cal State L.A. this past weekend.  He had 5 hits in 10 at bats while scoring twice and driving in three runs.  Vera drove in the game-winning run in the Gators' 4-3 win in 11 innings on Saturday.  Then in the Gators' 5-4 win on Sunday, he scored the game-winner after reaching base on a lead-off double (his third of the series).
