Bryce Cherry batted .400 with a .500 slugging percentage in the Gators' weekend series split with No. 18 UC San Diego. He started the weekend going 2-for-3, driving in three runs in the Gators' 7-6 series opening win. Cherry then went 1 for 3 with two RBIs in the Gators' doubleheader split with the Tritons on Friday. He finished the weekend, going 1 for 4 with a RBI and a runs scored in the Gators' 6-4 loss on Saturday.
