Vanessa Truan picked a complete game shutout victory in SF State's 1-0 extra-inning win over Hawai'i-Hilo this past Sunday. In that game, she struck out five and gave up just two hits in 8 innings of work in improving to 3-3 and lowering her earned run average to 2.02. For the week, she appeared in four games and pitched in 12.1 innings while striking out 11 and giving up five hits and one run. Her earned run average for the week was 0.57.
