Freshman sprinter Timarya Baynard had a record setting weekend for the Gators this weekend. In three events, Baynard set provisional and school records. She kicked off the weekend running the third leg of the Gators 4x100 relay, SF State finished first with a school and meet record time of 45.94, a provisional mark, and the second best time in the nation. Later at the SF State Distance Carnival, she took first in the 400m dash finishing with a time of 54.60, an improvement on her provisional time and a new school record, and the second best mark in the country. She wrapped up her weekend competing in the 4x400 with the Gators at the Stanford Invite, SF State finished fourth overall with a school record time of 3:39.21, an automatic qualifying time and the top-time in the country.
