Senior outfielder Jacob Lopez went 8-for-14 at the plate with three doubles and his second home run of the season in a 2-2 week for the Gators. He also drove in seven runs and scored seven runs. Lopez’s home run tied the game 3-3 in an eventual 6-4 win at Cal State LA. Now hitting .333/.413/.456 on the season, Lopez’s slugging percentage and 30 hits both lead the Gators, and his 41 total bases are tied for the team lead.
