Senior thrower Alex Jones continued to add to her legacy on Saturday.  The native of Union City, Calif., broke the school record in the shot put at the Bulldog Invitational, taking first in the event with a throw of 14.35 meters.  The provisional mark moves Jones up to 20^th in the nation.  That same meet, she also took eight in the hammer throw with a throw of 50.56 meters.
