Plantinos led the Gators to a 3-0 week and was named Tournament MVP of the Golden Gate Classic. Plantinos scored his first career hat trick in Friday's 4-3 overtime victory vs. Holy Names and scored the game-winner in Sunday's 5-0 victory over Academy of Art. He attempted 12 shots on the week and eight were on goal, four of which found the back of the net.

SF State has started the season 5-0-0, which matches the best start in 75 seasons of SF State men's soccer (1968). The senior has a team-high seven goals through his first five matches.
