Zeller averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and an assist in a 1-1 week for the Gators. Zeller shot 47.8 percent (11-of-23) from the field, was 6-of-14 from deep and 11-for-12 at the free throw line. He scored 18 points as the Gators overcame a 19-point second-half deficit and won 83-79 in overtime at Cal State East Bay, then followed that up with a 21-point effort in a non-conference matchup versus Pacific Union.
