The 157 lb. redshirt freshman went 4-0 at the SF State-hosted 41st Annual California Collegiate Open. He won by fall in his first two bouts at the 1:41 and 1:44 marks, then recorded a semifinal victory in overtime with a 9-7 victory over CBU's Josh Johnson. He edged CBU's Cole Drescher 5-4 in the championship bout.
