Clem began the weekend with an 8-4 victory, scoring on an escape as well as riding time against New Mexico Highlands to lead the Gators to a 26-15 win. He followed with another win after leading 12-1 and scoring on a fall at 4:01 to put the Gators back up, 23-17 en route to another match victory against Simpson. On Saturday at the 42nd Annual California Collegiate Open, Clem took second place at 174 with a pair of victories by decision as well as a major decision win over Nainoa Calvo from Stanford.
