In discus, Courtney Massengale notched a fifth-place finish with a throw of 48.44m which is a provisional mark and the fifth-best throw in the nation this outdoor season. The senior also placed ninth in javelin with a distance of 41.95m for another provisional qualifier and the seventh-best throw in Division II this season and PR’d in shot put with a 13.70m, which is the eighth-best throw in the nation this season.
