Nicole Vanni played a major role in the Gators’ second home weekend sweep. She started the weekend assisted on Myriah Johnson’s golden goal in the 95^th minute of the Gators’ 1- win over Humboldt State on Friday. Then on Sunday, she assisted on the game’s first goal by Kara Cunningham. Then with less than nine minutes left in the match, she scored the game-winner off a ball from Zoila Marquez to give the Gators a 2-1 win. SF State is now 4-1 in its last five games and are just three-points out of first place in the CCAA North with just two weeks left in the regular season.
