Trinity Barr had a monster week as the Gators went 5-0 on the week and improved to 7-0, setting a new program record for best start to a season. Barr started all 15 sets and tallied a team-high 3.87 kills per set (58 total kills). She also hit .462 and had eight block assists. She averaged 4.13 points per set.
Barr's .800 hitting (12 kills on 15 attempts) versus Holy Names puts her second all-time for hitting percentage in a single match. She is currently fourth among CCAA players in hitting percentage (.423), behind teammate Izzy Isaak.
As a team, the Gators lead the CCAA in hitting percentage (.362), kills (15.68), assists (14.55), blocks (2.32/set), and service aces (2.27/set). SF State also allows the lowest hitting percentage by opponents (.152), opponent kills (9.91/set), and opponent blocks (1.14). SF State's assists per set are second in all of NCAA Division II while kill per set rank third and hitting percentage ranks seventh.
