San Bernardino, Calif.---- In a battle of two NSCAA West Regionally ranked teams, it was the visiting SF State Gators defeating the CSU San Bernardino Coyotes (6-3-2, 4-2-1 CCAA) 1-0 in San Bernardino this afternoon. SF State won its first road match of the season and also defeated the CCAA South Division leader en route to their seventh shutout of the season.
“We hung on after scoring early in the match,” said SF State Head Coach Jack Hyde. “CSU San Bernardino had chances, but just could not connect,” added Hyde. “We made some adjustments at the half and hung on nicely for the three-points on the road in the CCAA.”
