Box Score SAN FRANCISCO –Brittany Oldham connected on a corner kick from Kelsey Wetzstein with less than 16 minutes left in regulation to secure the SF State Gators' 2-1 regular season home opening victory over the visiting Academy of Art Urban Knights.
 
Autumn Fox connected on a shot from four yards out in the sixth minute off a cross from Elizet Ceja in the sixth minute as the hosts took an early 1-0 lead.  The match remained 1-0 Gators until five minutes into the second half when Laudat Rea connected off a missed shot by Kayla Pritchett to tie the match at 1-1 for the Urban Knights (0-2).
 
SF State dominated the match as the hosts held an 11-2 advantage on corner kicks while also recording six shots on goal to its visitors two. 
 
Allison Land had one save in goal for the Gators, who will return to the pitch this Tuesday at 3:30pm in Rocklin, Calif., for a non-conference match-up with William Jessup.
