CHICO – The SF State women's basketball team had just one player in double figures as they fell on the road to host Chico State defeated the Gators 67-40, Friday evening at Art Acker Gymnasium. The Gators fall to 0-13/0-9 CCAA.
Jasmine Flanagan led the Gators with 11 points, she finished the night going 5-for-13 from the field, including 1-for-8 from beyond the three point line. The Gators once again struggled from deep, finishing the night 3-for-27 from beyond the three point line and was 1-for-11 after the intermission.
The Wildcats (5-8/2-7 CCAA) did most of their damage in the paint, outscoring the Gators 40-4. The Wildcats were led by Hannah Womack's game-high 15 points as she shot 5-for-13 from the floor. Chico State shot just 38 percent from the field tonight and was just 4-for-19 from three point range.

In the opening half the Gators started the evening 1-for-10 from the floor as the Wildcats jumped out to an early 9-2 lead. Before the second media timeout SF State went on an 8-4 run and cut the Wildcats lead to five, trailing 15-10. Out of the break, Chico State went on a 10-3 and went up 25-13 at the seven minute mark. The Gators never got closer and wrapped up the half trailing 35-17.
The Gators finished the opening half going just 7-for-33 from the floor, including 2-for-13 from beyond the arc.
Freshman
Savannah Camp finished the night with three points and seven rebounds. The Gators finished the night with 42 rebounds which is the second most of the season.
Taylor Ingraham tied a career-high with eight rebounds.
Michelle Sutton finished the night with seven rebounds and nine points.
The Gators return to action tomorrow night, when they travel to Turlock, Calif., to take on Cal State Stanislaus.
