SAN FRANCISCO– SF State's women's soccer team will look to continue its winning ways this week with their three matches.  The Gators will travel to Dominican (Calif.) on Tuesday, September 15 for a 4pm non-conference match with the Penguins in San Rafael.  SF State will then open up its 2015 conference play with a pair of road matches this weekend at Stanislaus State on Friday evening and at Cal State East Bay Sunday afternoon.

The Gators are coming off a 2-0 week at home with a 2-1 win over Montana State-Billings on Thursday and a 1-0 victory over Concordia (Ore.) on Saturday. In their win over the Yellowjackets on Thursday, Hannah Mikles connected on a corner kick from Kelsey Wetzstein for what proved to be the game-winner in the 41st minute.  SF State's other goal came in the 35th minute on an own goal.  Karin Nordin recorded four saves in goal for the victors.

Then on Saturday afternoon in their win over Concordia, Autumn Fox connected on a ball from Vanessa Penuna for the game-winner in the 56th minute.  Nordin recorded two saves in goal for the Gators en route to her first shutout in the purple and gold as SF State improved to 2-2 on the year.
