SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The San Francisco State women's basketball team struggled to find their shooters touch on Wednesday night as host Cal State San Bernardino took down the Gators 72-38 at Coussoulis Arena.
The Gators (2-15/0-10 CCAA) shot 28.3 percent from the field for the evening, going 13-for-46. From 3-point range, SFSU opened the game 0-for-10 and finished 2-for-20. SF State was led by
Kaitlin DaDalt who scored a team-high 13 points, she also grabbed seven rebounds.
Cal State San Bernardino (9-4/6-3 CCAA) opened the game on a 7-0 run, and closed out the first quarter going up 21-6. The Gators opened the game going 1-for-7.
Out of the intermission, the Gators scored four quick points and cut the deficit to 14, from there CSUSB put the game away, going on an 11-3 run. They increased their lead to 39 midway through the fourth quarter.
The Gators were plagued by turnovers on Wednesday night, committing 26 turnovers that led to 30 points for the Coyotes.
Donae Moguel was second on the team in scoring, finishing with nine points and eight rebounds.
Imani Smith also chipped in nine points.

DaDalt In Double Figures
For the eleventh time this season, junior forward
Kaitlin DaDalt finished in double figures. DaDalt leads the team in scoring, averaging 10.5 points per game.
Moguel On The Glass
Senior center
Donae Moguel has been getting it done on the glass. Moguel finished the night with eight rebounds tonight, it marks the fourth time in the last eight games she's recorded at least eight rebounds.
Next Up
The Gators return home on Saturday and take on rival Sonoma State. Tip-off for the game is slated for 5:30 p.m.
